Jane has worked in commercial plant nurseries and for interior landscaping companies.
She has taught flower arranging and floristry in many places including at Riseholme College near Lincoln and across the world in America, Japan and in several European countries.
She has also worked in supporting young people and those with mental health challenges.
Jane and Dave had their own Garden Centre, Florist and wholesale Nursery producing herbs and herbaceous plants in the 1980's.
More recently they set up and ran a Community Interest Company which developed a community garden and ran Friendship days where people with dementia and their carers and other with mental health challenges could use the natural environment and taking part in craft and gardening sessions to improve their well being. These sessions have now been taken on by local community groups.
Now we volunteer as gardeners at Aubourn Hall in support of their open days which raise money for local charities and continue to deliver our range of talks and demonstrations and work on our own garden and allotment
