Would you like to spend some time having fun with your friends in a natural setting?
Would you like to have a go at some gardening or craft activities and perhaps learn something new?
If so, we may be able to help. We are now able to offer group visits to our community garden at Eagle Hall.
There are three types of visit.
Afternoon visits from 2.00 – 4.00 including a tour of the site looking at the woodland and various garden areas, a range of activities to have a go at and light refreshments.
Morning visits from 10.00 – 13.00 as the afternoon visits plus a talk and demonstration on a gardening topic and light refreshments
Seasonal workshops of 3 hours duration including the chance to develop skills in a specific topic mostly in floral art or gardening with light refreshments and the chance to tour the site.

The garden is situated at The Lodge, Eagle Hall, Nr Swinderby. LN6 9HZ. This is in the countryside, half way between Lincoln and Newark off the A46 and between Eagle and Swinderby villages.
The Visits and Gardening Workshops are available from March until September. The Summer Flowers from the Garden workshops are available June to August and the Xmas workshops November to early December. All dates are subject to availability.
For Afternoon visits we are able to accommodate up to 20 people, Morning visits and Workshops up to 10 people.
Activities are selected from, lawn games, sowing seeds, taking cuttings, making bird feeders, craft and floral activities. Things made can be taken home.
Talk/Demonstration/Garden Workshop topics include: Herbs, Propagation, Pests and Diseases, This Month in the Garden, Wildlife gardening.
The site is rural, and the activities are largely outdoors and often messy so appropriate footwear and clothing is required.
Costs are: Afternoon visits £10 per head, Morning visits £15 per head and Workshops £20 per head (including materials).
To make a day of it you might also visit Doddington Hall, Lincoln Castle, Cathedral and Museums, the Bomber Command Centre, Goltho Gardens.
